Partnership Built on Capabilities and Network Scale, with a Focus on Customers’ Long-Term Benefits
A key foundation of the agreement is the capabilities and capacity of the authorized service provider. Under the agreement, Carpla Service is responsible for operating its service activities in accordance with GM’s standards and procedures; ensuring that its technical personnel are trained and certified as required; maintaining appropriate facilities, tools and equipment; ensuring that its parts management and information technology systems meet operational requirements; and maintaining standards for service quality and customer satisfaction.
These capabilities are also among the key strengths that Tasco has invested in as it develops its automotive ecosystem in Vietnam. With an extensive nationwide service network, together with its human resources, facilities and operational processes, Tasco and Carpla Service are well positioned to bring services closer to customers across multiple provinces and cities.
For customers, the partnership provides greater access to GM-standard services, genuine parts, trained technical personnel and standardized service processes, contributing to the quality and ownership experience throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

Mr. Hector Villarreal, President and Managing Director of GM Korea and Asia Pacific said: “The selection of Carpla Service as an authorized provider of GM services and parts in Vietnam was made based on an assessment of its capabilities and ability to meet GM’s after-sales service standards. With Tasco’s system foundation, service network and operational resources, we are confident that Carpla Service can meet requirements in service quality, parts, technical capabilities and customer experience.
Through this partnership, GM aims to continue supporting the community of nearly 80,000 GM & Chevrolet customers in Vietnam, contributing to ensuring that customers have access to services and parts that meet the brand’s standards in the period ahead.”
Mr. Trung Kien Nguyen, Chief Operating Officer of Carpla Service, said: “Carpla Service’s network within the Tasco system currently provides a wide range of services, from maintenance, repair, vehicle care, body and paint, and parts replacement to roadside assistance and other supporting services. Standardizing processes and making consistent investments in facilities, people and technology provide a strong foundation for the network to meet the increasingly high service standards of global automotive manufacturers.
GM’s selection of Carpla Service as an authorized partner to provide services and parts in Vietnam is a recognition of the capabilities, scale and operational foundation that we have invested in over the past years. We understand that the value of a vehicle does not only lie at the point of purchase, but also in the quality of service customers receive throughout their ownership journey.
We expect this partnership to create a stronger and more sustainable after-sales foundation for the GM & Chevrolet customer community in Vietnam, enabling customers to continue enjoying peace of mind and access to genuine services and parts in the period ahead.”

Mr. Ha Ho, Vice Chairman of the Board, Tasco, said: “The partnership with GM further reinforces Tasco’s direction of developing a comprehensive mobility solutions ecosystem, in which after-sales services are a key component.
Tasco has been gradually building a service platform capable of serving multiple international automotive brands with different technical requirements and operating standards. We will continue to invest in our systems, people and technology to enhance service quality and deliver an increasingly seamless and consistent customer experience.”
